Masjid Al Fasẖ: At the base of Mount Uhud, Masjid Al Fash stands as a timeless symbol of unwavering resilience, its stones echoing takbīrāt and weary footsteps. Here, the Prophet ﷺ and his companions sought refuge during the final phase of the Battle of Uhud, embodying steadfastness and sacrifice. Built of stone and plaster on a site graced by the Prophet’s ﷺ prayers, it was restored during the Saudi era to serve as a lasting reminder of patience and perseverance in the face of trial.

Qiba Castle
On a southern rise of Madīnah, where historical events unfolded, stands Qubāʾ Fort, overlooking the route the Prophet ﷺ took every Saturday from Al-Masjid An-Nabawī to Masjid Qubāʾ. Built between 1915 and 1918 to defend the city, its cannons stood poised against danger, except during Ramaḍān, when they heralded ifṭār, and the fasting hastened to tables of mercy. Though the cannons are silent today, their meaning still rings forth: security is a responsibility, and protection a legacy upheld through generations.
